Church Office Bookkeeper/Accountant – Concord Baptist Church has an immediate opening for an experienced individual to perform bookkeeping and accounting functions for a church office. Responsibilities include recording income, reviewing and paying bills, reconciling bank statements, payroll, preparing monthly financial statements, and assisting with budget preparation. Experience with QuickBooks Online is preferred. An accounting degree is desirable. Four-day workweek, competitive salary, generous benefits, and quality work environment. Youth Pastor – Cornerstone Baptist Church is seeking a part-time Youth Pastor responsible for shepherding youth and providing leadership to the church’s overall youth ministry. The Youth Pastor is accountable to the Personnel Committee and under the mentorship of the Pastor. Job duties include:
- Coordinate the overall youth ministry
- Coordinate youth fellowships
- Coordinate youth mission/ministry projects
- Coordinate the youth VBS team during VBS week
- Fellowship with youth before and after all church activities/services
- Lead the Wednesday night youth ministry
- Serve as chair of the Youth Ministry Committee
- Serve as a member of the Church Council representing the youth ministry
- Assist the Sunday School Director and the Nominating Committee in finding youth workers
- Submit the youth ministry budget request
- Work with other church leaders in planning church wide activities
- Work to expand the youth ministry as a whole
