Rev. Alan Earls

Alan Earls currently serves as the Director of Missions (DOM) for the Concord Baptist Association in Jefferson City, Missouri. He ministers to and assists over 40 churches in the association. He has served in this position since January 2020, first as Interim and then appointed as Director in August 2020. Alan has been a licensed and ordained minister for over 25 years. In addition to the Director of Mission’s responsibility, Alan currently serves as pastor of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Clarksburg, Mo. Alan also served as interim Associate Pastor and elder at Freshwater, JC from 2021 until 2023. Before serving as a pastor, Alan was appointed as Youth Minister at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Russellville, Mo between 1995-1999. Alan served as Lead Pastor of Mt. Olive from 1999-August 2020 when he left to accept the DOM position. In addition to serving in the ministry, Alan retired from the Missouri Department of Corrections in 2018 after a 30-year career, having retired as a Deputy Director of Adult Institutions.

Alan is married to Paula, his wife of 36 years. Alan was born and raised in St. Louis and Paula is from Sturgis, Kentucky. God brought them together as they both served on missions in the inner city of St. Louis. They have two grown sons (Andrew and Alex), who are married to two beautiful Christian ladies (Sarah and Denise). Paula and Alan are also blessed with three grandchildren whom they love to spoil. Alan and Paula enjoy camping, sharing Christ, and spending time with family.
